They are easy to insert, relatively inexpensive, and necessarily can last a long time. The challenge has been in everyday patient management. The Kitty Kollar is in an adjustable collar that fits securely around the patient?s neck with a hole or vent for the O-tube. A Velcro strap holds the O tube down and secure when not in use. Circular pads (6) are provided to absorb any drainage between stoma and the collar. Machine washable: keeps stoma site clean. Ease of application and removal: clients can do it at home.
