SurgiVet Slippery Sam Tomcat Urethral Catheters (TTM Series)

SurgiVet Slippery Sam Tomcat Urethral Catheters. PTFE coated catheter is used to eliminate the urethral obstruction and allow drainage or administration of fluids. The significance of the PTFE is that it makes the catheter lubricious, making it easier to insert into the urethra. This catheter is to be used for short or medium term only, until a regular tomcat catheter can be placed if necessary. Rigid and slippery for easy, atraumatic placement with no stylet required. Endhole or distal side holes for drainage or administration of fluids. Low profile silicone hub with suture holes will aid in preventing catheter being removed prematurely by the cat. The hub will accept a standard luer lock syringe, an IV bag for closed collection or a Little Herbert Adaptor. Sterile.
